Troubleshooting guide for figuring out “No connection” problems of the WT Tactical Map app.

Step What to test Result Possible problems Solution
1 Run the War Thunder, Alt+Tab it and on the PC open in browser http://localhost:8111/ You should see the War Thunder map interface. Game is not running. Start the game.
Game dynamic map is not running. Restart the game.
Something is blocking port 8111. Restart the browser (or end the program using the 8111 port) then restart the game.
2 Open http://w.x.y.z:8111/ (where w.x.y.z is your PC IP) still on the PC You should see the same interface again. IP address is wrong. See
3 Open http://w.x.y.z:8111/ on the Android device browser Again you should see the interface (may be little different). Device is not in the same network. Connect Android and PC are on the same WiFi.
Android is on WiFi, PC is connected via the cable to the same router. (If it is still not working see the router setting if it is not blocking WLAN to LAN communication).
IP address is from wrong PC interface. See if your PC has more Addresses and try them.
Firewall on the PC is blocking port 8111. If you have custom Firewall on your PC open port 8111.
4 Set the w.x.y.z IP in the app. App should connect to the map interface. Something is blocking the app. Some user reported that Kaspersky Mobile Security was blocking the app. If you have KMS or similar “protection” application try adding the WT Tactical Map to the white list (exceptions) or disabling it temporally or uninstalling it.
